Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the DetectiveOS terminal and its associated archives ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This interface is a simulated environment for entertainment purposes. Unauthorized attempts to exploit the underlying infrastructure will result in immediate termination of access.

2. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from:

• Attempting to reverse-engineer source code or decrypt secured assets outside of intended gameplay mechanics.
• Sharing account credentials or "Security Clearance" keys with friends to play together is allowed, not with other personnel.
• Harassing other agents or Bureau staff via support channels.

3. Intellectual Property

All case files, evidence, images, and narratives within DetectiveOS are the exclusive property of the Bureau (DetectiveOS Developers). You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". The Bureau makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy of simulated forensic data. We are not liable for any loss of progress due to local browser storage clearing or network interruptions.

5. Payments & Refunds

"Security Clearance" upgrades are one-time purchases processed via secure third-party gateways. Due to the digital nature of the unlocked content, all sales are final. Exceptions may be made for technical failures at the sole discretion of the Bureau.
